Assignments for English and Literature

English/Literature
Since we don't have school this week, I would like to have students work on things that we would be preparing for anyway. Students were looking forward to doing debates in English class, and I would still like to work toward doing some type of debate tournament. I also planned to have students write one more research paper before the end of the year. I think working on the research for both assignments would be the best use of time during this quarantine. For Literature, I would like students to read one more book of choice. I will post the expectations on Google Classroom. If anyone has difficulty doing the assignments, please let me know. This is a time for all of us to be flexible.
